Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Airport North/Virginia Avenue

This is a nice place for an overnight stay with room to stretch out. I miss the full hot breakfast. Customer service is excellent and all suites have a full kitchen. You can tell the property have aged and declined over the years and needs a little more attention, especially on the outside. Housekeeping is limited and the pool was understandably closed. The outside furniture could stand to be replaced. WiFi was weak our first night but we managed when we changed rooms the next day as we both work full time remotely. Despite the small inconveniences, we were here for work and relax. I would stay again.

The staff was nice, not the general manager. Overall the room was clean, with a mini kitchen, breakfast every morning. Mon-Wed they give wine and evening food. Good hotel and they’ll clean it everyday if you need the to. Basketball court for the kids, patio set and fire pit. Push button toilets. The soap smell good, it’s like a mint soap. But yea the hotel is nice. I only did 4 stars cause of the general manager. She has a nasty attitude. But the ones that work in the morning are extremely nice and welcoming. Don’t believe the other reviews saying it’s nasty. I thought so to u til I got there. And I’m picky. I’ll book here again.

From the moment I stepped into this establishment, I was met with nothing but warmth and professionalism, but it was Rosey who truly made my experience memorable. Her attention to detail, coupled with a genuinely caring attitude, sets a new standard for hospitality. Rosey went above and beyond, ensuring not only a comfortable stay but also demonstrating remarkable diligence in handling an item I left behind. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated and efficient in their role. A heartfelt thank you, Rosey, for making my stay not just pleasant, but truly exceptional. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, especially because of staff like Rosey who make it feel like a home away from home. Five stars well-deserved! However, I was extremely disappointed with the breakfast quality. It fell short of the standard I expected and didn’t match the otherwise excellent experience.

Want to give a shout out to Rosie from the front desk. She & her bubbly personality were just what I needed after a very long drive. She talked & showed pics of her fur babies as we shared pics of ours as well. She was an absolute delight. I will stay at this hotel again just for her!!

Great place!! The rooms were immaculate, and the front desk personnel were so kind and professional! Shout out to Rosey and Paula for going above and beyond when I left a personal item behind, they saved it at the front desk for me!! I am grateful for their kindness and Awesome customer service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had the most pleasant stay and the customer service was exceptional

The location is convenient (within a half hour of Truist Park and about 25 minutes from Stone Mountain). The suite was clean, spacious, and met all our needs. BUT THE BEST PART of the stay was the staff. Everyone working there was super friendly!!! The front desk, the chef, the laundry staff, and every other employee we encountered treated us like family. They all go out of their way to be kind. I travel often and I have never seen such welcoming and friendly employees at any hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Couple days in and I can say that the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is better than average for sure. Room is clean and spacious. No soap for handwashing but quickly remedied by staff. Dishes and everything you need to cook basic meals in full kitchen and also a large refrigerator with an ice machine in the freezer. Overall pretty happy so far.
